Lake Prince Woods Senior Community Hosts Blood Drive

April 30, 2019

Suffolk, Virginia – Lake Prince Woods urges the public to donate blood on Wednesday May 9th, 2019 on the campus of the senior community, 100 Anna Goode Way, Suffolk.

Why Donate?

The number one reason donors say they give blood is because they "want to help others."

Remember --blood cannot be manufactured, it can only come from generous donors like you.

The blood drive is being conducted by the American Red Cross, the primary blood supplier to the regions patients and hospitals. Donors should be healthy adults 17 and older who weigh more than 110 pounds.

The drive is scheduled from 1:00p.m. – 5:00p.m. in the Portsmouth Center at Lake Prince Woods. For more information about the blood drive, call Kimberly Searcy at 757-923-5511.
