Needs of Suffolk's Senior Adults to be Assessed
January 31, 2016
Lake Prince Woods, and its parent company United Church Homes and Services (UCHS), will be conducting Community Needs Assessment focused on older people over the next couple of months.
“We are undertaking this effort as part of our ongoing commitment to improving the communities where we serve,” noted UCHS President and CEO Lee Syria. “We will use the information gathered through the survey to guide our community improvement activities.”
Community members in healthcare and public health, senior services, government, business, social services, non-profit organizations, and others will be invited to participate in the on-line survey.
The survey covers questions about the most pressing issues facing older people in Suffolk, services or resources not available, ease of ability to find information about services and resources, availability of employment and volunteer opportunities, barriers to service and more.
Between 50 and 100 persons will be invited to participate in the survey.
