Residents Crochet for the Homeless

January 24, 2019

SUFFOLK, VA- Residents at Lake Prince Woods continue to give. A group of residents joined together to crochet hats and scarves to make the difference during this cold winter season. Hats and scarves will be delivered to the homeless in the greater Suffolk community.

“It gives us the opportunity to put our talents to use. We love to help people. Once we learned it was going to be a harsh winter we knew what we needed to do. We are working to recruit more of our neighbors to help with the cause,” said Barbara Bainbridge, resident at Lake Prince Woods.

Lake Prince Woods offers an opportunity for the community to assist with this effort by donating extra yarn to the community and the opportunity to join the crochet sessions. The sessions are Fridays at 10am at Lake Prince Woods. Contact Denise Brown. Director of Residents Services to confirm your attendance.
